The LASU Journal of Medical Sciences (LASU- JMS) was born out of the yearnings of the teeming members of the Faculty to have a peer- reviewed outlet for their work. This journal, with its broad scope, disseminates information from a diverse range of research from an equally diverse range of specialties within the Medical Sciences. The LASU-JMS is a biannual journal which publishes report of original research from all .Departments in Basic Medical Sciences, Basic Clinical Sciences, Clinical Sciences, Dental Sciences, Nursing Science and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The journal also accepts manuscripts from Alternative Medicine, Biomedical Communications, Biomedical Engineering and Biotechnology as it relates to Medicine; Environment and Health; Medical Education, Sports Physiology and Telemedicine. The LASU- JMS provides a roadmap for health policy formulation for Lagos State in particular, and Nigeria as well as other African countries.
